STAN 'The Man' LEE is the major originator & forefather of most everything classically sacred at Marvel, who, with other co-creators such as artists JACK KIRBY, JOHN ROMITA Sr, STEVE DITKO, and many others, pioneered the path which brought more serious, relevant North American superheroes to the pages of comics in the 1960s & 1970s...

Stan Lee co-created as a writer Spider-Man, The Hulk, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor, The X-Men, The Silver Surfer, Daredevil, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, & S.H.I.E.L.D among the hundreds of Marvel Comics based characters he's famous for....

Born on December 28, 1922 in New York City,

the man who would come to hearld in "The Marvel Way" almost  40 years later seemingly had a knack for editing, being a fairly smart teen, graduating high school at a young age, which, along with having a family connection, allowed him to steadily raise his profile beginning in the late 1930s at new publishing company TIMELY COMICS, soon to be renamed ATLAS COMICS in the 1950s, before settling using the MARVEL COMICS brand in the 1960s...
