WOLVERINE is turning up all over, sometimes in places you wouldn't expect, though it's totally forseen lately to be back on the nightstands of milions of X-'ex-readers', no longer willing to sit on the sidelines of some of the most prolific stories in MARVEL COMICS most complex anti-hero's cannon [history]....
For good reason, Logan has had to step-up lately, into roles he's more used to letting others assume, these involve planning, dedication, and a careful crafting of responsibilities....

controversial 'WEAPON X PROGRAM' which not only spawned our man LOGAN [actual name, JAMES HOWLETT], but also an expansive number of other characters including DEADPOOL [...who's very little like what was seen in the 1st 'WOLVERINE' movie... thankfully!...]......
....Originally carefully revealed only in painfully tiny pieces of INFO, through longtime 'UNCANNY X-MEN' [16+ years!] writer Chris Claremont, original co-creator** Len Wein [...whom also co-created NIGHTCRAWLER, STORM, COLOSSUS, and D.C.'s SWAMP THING among others...], artists Dave Cockrum, John Byrne, & Frank Miller [..yes, THAT one!..], his popularity, versatility, and sales dictated more backstory become available [ be created] on MARVEL's not-so merry mutant....
After some false-starts...No, his costume DID come off, & did NOT contain his trademark claws within it...bits became known as his appearances increased, and finaly a chance at his own series, first 4 issues in 1982, <<#1-cover-by Frank Miller >>> than a welcomed continuing staring role monthly beginning in 1988 till today, both appropriately named 'WOLVERINE'....
