task very quickly...

It's no coincidenceTV's longest running prime-time entertainment program,

'The Simpsons', recently beating out 'Gunsmoke' for that title [both of whom

have had comic incarnations featuring new stories true to their source material,

GUN-over 30 issues/ THE SIMPSONS has over 160+ comics and counting...],

doesn't concern itself with integrating its stories together [..Homer fired again?]

as to do so would involve hours of fustration, and limit future storylines....

Hence sequential art's heroic corner

It is not only commendable, but close to unbelievable that DC, by way of writer Geoff [FLASH, GREEN LANTERN REBIRTH] Johns, would begin it's pursuit of expectant reader's acclaim not by focussing on the minute, but instead roll out a complete revising of it's entire 'big-gun' line-up in 'JUSTICE LEAGUE #1' as the FIRST TITLE to hit the stands on AUGUST 31st,....

....leaving it's always opinionated adoring audience a full week to mull over before the others appear!
